Beetroot Academy, with the support of Estonian Ministry for International Affairs, launches scholarships for IT-courses

With the support of the Estonian Ministry for International Affairs’ Development Fund, Beetroot Academy offers scholarships for eight courses in Mariupol and Zaporozhye, partly covering tuitions for 48% of students and covering the full cost of tuition for 10% of students.

The Estonian Council on Internally Displaced People also takes part in this initiative, offering small grants to support entrepreneurship and self-development in Eastern Ukraine.

The scholarships have been launched in two mid-size cities—Mariupol and Zaporozhye—and seek to rejuvenate these locations, as well as to improve entrepreneurship skills and increase employment opportunities for socially vulnerable parts of society. The scholarship program is primarily designed for women, internally displaced people and ATO veterans.

At this point, students can apply for two courses: Front-End Development and Web Design. After four months of education characterized by practice and current market demands, students will be able to join the global IT sphere and work for both local and international IT companies.
