How Our FDE Engagement Works

The deployment lifecycle for an FDE engagement has three time-bound phases, each with a specific purpose and output. You always know where the work stands, what comes next, and when the engagement is set to close.

  • Assessment (1-2 weeks)

    Phase 1

    A Beetroot Tech Lead and Delivery Manager work with your team to assess the mission scope, team dynamics, and success criteria. This phase covers technical requirements gathering and stakeholder management and produces a mission brief with agreed exit conditions.

  • Embed (1-3 months)

    Phase 2

    Senior FDE engineers join your team’s day-to-day work and operate as part of the internal delivery setup. Engagements are typically remote, so onsite integration (physical co-location) is usually not required. Our Delivery Manager coordinates regular check-ins, while capability transfer begins at the outset and continues alongside delivery.

  • Handoff

    Phase 3

    The engagement concludes with structured knowledge transfer, a documentation review, and a recommendation memo summarizing our findings and suggested next steps. You can then end the collaboration with a clean exit or transition to another engagement model.
