Rana Ersgård Appointed New CEO of Beetroot Tech, Andreas Flodström Returns as CEO of Beetroot Academy

Stockholm, [October 14, 2024] – Beetroot announced the appointment of Rana Ersgård as the new CEO of Beetroot Tech, a part of the Beetroot ecosystem. Rana, who has been co-CEO since 2023, now fully takes over from Beetroot founder Andreas Flodström. Andreas will return to lead Beetroot Academy, the company’s tech education arm, as CEO, while also driving the group-wide business development and strategic partnerships. 

Following a challenging market period, Andreas and Rana collaborated closely to steer Beetroot through stabilization and renewal. 

“Our joint leadership helped the company navigate through a tough market situation during 2023, achieving a strong return to profitability in 2024 while expanding our delivery locations internationally. Rana is now positioned to lead Beetroot Tech into its next phase of growth,” said Andreas.

Rana added, “Beetroot Tech has recently been adapted to become a leaner and more agile organization. We have done this in a way that guarantees the high-quality, personal service level that our customers have come to expect from us, whether it’s in providing turn-key software solutions, tailored team extension setups, or other senior tech consulting.”

Meanwhile, Andreas’ return to Beetroot Academy will help drive a strategy to expand tech training offerings for businesses. “With Beetroot Academy, we have a great opportunity to meet the rising demand for customized education by offering a mix of team workshops and individual training,” said Andreas. “We will accelerate the development of practical programs that address urgent market needs, helping Nordic, European, and US tech companies stay competitive.”
